View List of EventsRecording the Beatles: Free PresentationTue Dec 02, 2008 @ 06:00PM The Student Chapter of the Audio Engineering Society from the New England Institute of Art together with the Boston Professional Chapter of AES is presenting a very special event at the Rabb Lecture Hall in the Main Copley Branch of the Boston Public Library. On Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 6pm authors Brian Kehew and Kevin Ryan will be presenting their very special book: Recording the Beatles. Never before has there been such an absolutely thorough and definitive look at how the Beatles Albums were recorded. Years of research and extensive interviews with the group’s former engineers and technicians shed new light on those classic sessions. With a detailed look at every piece of studio gear used, full explanations of effects and recording processes, and an inside look at how specific songs were recorded. This event is free and open to the general public. For more information, please contact Associate Professor John Krivit at 617-582-4472 or JohnKrivit@mac.com |
